Beschrijving
Tijdens een bezoek aan Estancia Santa Catalina, nabij Córdoba in Argentinië, werd ik getroffen door het sterke contrast in dit beeld — een deur die opent van de ene wereld naar de andere. Buiten: een ruwe muur met warme kleuren en grillige schaduwen in het zonlicht. Binnen: koele tinten, rechte lijnen en een gevoel van orde. Door in the Wall vangt precies dat moment van spanning — tussen chaos en rust, textuur en helderheid, warmte en afstand.

I was struck by the contrast between the outside wall and the hallway you see through the door. Warm colors, a rough wall, and irregular shadow patterns on the outside. And on the inside, cold colors, clear lines, and everything neat and tidy.
